Fichtner is great, one of the best around today. I'd like to see him in bigger roles!
I agree - he's one of my favorite character actors. I became aware of him in "Blackhawk Down", and then saw him in the short-lived TV series called "Species"???? where he played the town sheriff/possible alien enabler?
More recently I saw him with Jeff Bridges in the comedy "The Amateurs" - about making an amateur porn film - he stole the movie!
